Evaluation of Administrative Performance of Administrative Bodies in Iraqi Football Clubs from the Perspective of Coaches and Players

Abstract

The research includes a general definition of the concept of research, addressing management in general and sports management in particular, due to its fundamental role in the sports field. The importance of the study is highlighted through its focus on administrative performance as a modern topic in Iraqi football clubs, which rely on the application of administrative thought in their operations. Administrative performance is considered one of the key elements in advancing and developing the sports sector toward achieving planned objectives, as well as contributing to the development of football and increasing the financial resources of sports clubs. The research problem lies in the presence of administrative difficulties facing football clubs, which negatively affect their ability to achieve their intended goals, resulting in an undesirable state of their various activities and events. The objectives of the study include constructing a scale to measure the administrative performance of football clubs. The second chapter addresses the theoretical framework related to the research variables, while the researcher employed the descriptive method using both survey and correlational approaches, as it suits the nature of the study. The scale was applied to a sample of 60 individuals. The procedures for constructing the scale, defining the research population and sample, as well as the tools, data collection methods, and instruments used in the study were also explained. The fourth chapter includes the presentation of the scale results, their statistical analysis, and the discussion of each domain separately. The results showed statistically significant differences. The researcher reached several key conclusions, most notably that all domains and dimensions of the administrative performance scale for administrative bodies in Iraqi football clubs showed positive and distinguished results according to the opinions of the sample. The findings also revealed statistically significant relationships between the domains of the scale and its items, contributing to achieving the goals of administrative bodies and staff in football clubs. The study concludes with the fifth chapter, which presents the conclusions and recommendations.
